Fawlty Towers är ett dåligt exempel. Det klargörs gång på gång vilket svin Basil är mot alla (utom de han är övertygad har pengar) och att han har fel varenda gång han öppnar munnen.

Dessutom var väl MP inte direkt snälla mot någon. De drev ju hej vilt med både engelsmän, amerikaner, fransmän, skottar och allt de kom över... Det är väl inte så mycket folken som sådana som fördomarna om dem de driver med.

Det får mig att tänka på en sak. Vad är dealen med all Spanien-bashing de höll på med? Manuel i Fawlty Towers är värst så klart. Fawlty Towers har så vitt jag vet aldrig visats på spansk TV, och det är inte så underligt. Hur får man för sig att driva med en nationalitet på det där viset? Och det i en serie vars bästa avsnitt ("The Germans") driver hejdlöst med rasister.
